The past months (June and July) have been the worst for pests thus far. The caterpillars and squash bugs have been nasty! They have killed three plants thus far: two cucumber plants and a bell pepper plant. This morning, I found a huge caterpillar on one of the okra plants. The okra was safe, so I thought.
Another pest that is getting out of hand is the Red Ant. They are invading the eggplant plants, and I have had to clean them from three plants thus far.
Here is my first Bell pepper of the season! I look forward to seeing how many I can grow until December.
Unrelated, but kind of, here is a shot of the Milky Way from the back deck. It's a little blurry, but that's because we are hurdling through space so fast, and my phone's camera is only so good.
