Changes

I have been working on my things more efficiently here on the Little Farm. I have needed to replant a few things, like some cabbages and the Basil-Purple Dark Opal. I had to pull a cabbage because it was starting to rot. The one cabbage was further along than the rest and had the least…

Week 42 update

I have a LOT of photos! The first is a kind of group shot. The photos that follow are of the individuals in the group shot. I may talk about a few things along the way, but it’s mostly going to be a large posting of photos. I hope the gallery of photos aren’t too…

Week 37 of 2022

This is going to be a look at all the things I am growing and how they’re doing. Let’s get to it. Doing good thus far. looking forward to harvesting and eating all this. This is a mix of things… kale, summer savory, lettuce, and cilantro. This Cabbage, Copenhagen Early and Asian Basil-Cinnamon seem to…

Cherry Tomatoes

I harvested some cherry tomatoes this week! I am shocked that these tomato plants have started producing fruit so quickly. They were just planted about 4 weeks ago. The plants are only about two and a half feet tall.

Cayenne Peppers

Figs

Of the two fig trees I have planted, only one has started producing fruit. Mind you, these trees are just over a foot tall. I didn’t photo the other tree because there was nothing on it. But they’re both the same size, they were both planted at the same time, and they both get watered…

Basil – UPDATE

Take a look at the following. I have hydroponic basil, and I have basil planted in the ground. Notice the growth of the hydroponic basil, it’s bushy, yet somewhat limpy. Take a look at the basil planted in the ground. It’s not bushy, but it is standing firmly, and It doesn’t have as many leaves…

Mint – UPDATE

As I mentioned in an earlier post, the hydroponic mint wasn’t doing well as compared to its counterpart planted in the soil next to it. Well, I’m here to say that the hydroponic mint has come back just as strong if not stronger than its counterpart. It needed a proper mixing of nutrients to grow…

Cherry Tomatoes

I checked on the cherry tomatoes today, and some of them seem to be doing quite well. Others are still small.
